Olimpia is a Mexican Athlete. She is originally from Nayarit, later moved to Monterry and is now living in Mexico City. Her mother was an amature athlete and encouraged her to try different sports like: gymnastics, tennis, basketball and volleyball.  

At 13 she realized that she was good at sprinting and started competing in long and triple jumps and later began to pole vault. She still holds the college pole vault record, and she held the Mexican Long Jump Record in 2015 jumping 4.20m.  She has represented Mexico in many other National and International competitions. She has been preselected for Pan American Games, Central American and Caribbean Games in several ocasions.

She is now finishing her degree and working as nutritionist and health with a track and field team.
