Octavio "Tavo" González is an American football player from Monterrey, Mexico and began practicing this sport when he was 6 years old. When he turned 12, he and his family moved to San Antonio, where he joined the high school basketball team.

Once he returned to Mexico, he entered college and further developed his love for American football, which led to his becoming a professional player upon completion of college, and joining the LFA.

During his time in the league, he joined the training camps of the NFL teams New York Giants and Dallas Cowboys, but never made the final roster of the teams.

During his participation in season 3 of Exatlón Estados Unidos, Tavo made a great friendship with Kelvin. They called themselves "Los Compadres."

Octavio is tall and very muscular, which caused him problems early in the competition, but he adapted quickly and made it to the final week, but was eliminated by Mack Roesch in an epic battle, where Tavo stripped the American of all his medals.
