ALBERTO “EL VENADO” MEDINA
Alberto Medina “El Venado” is a “Mexican Football Legend”.
He played for 12 years with Chivas MX, he joined the team when he was 17 years old and in his first year he won an award as most promising player.
He was part of the team that won the Chivas it’s first Liga MX Championship for the first time in 9 years.
He was called to join the Mexican National Selection in 2003, playing in a “friendly game” against the USA Team. At the age of 20 he made history making a play against Roberto Carlo (a famous Brazilian player).
In 2009 he, once again, joined the Mexican National Team, this time playing for the CONCACAF GOLD CUP, that was won by the Mexican Team.
Later in 2010 he was also selected as part of 23 top players to join the Mexican Team that played the FIFA WORLD CUP in 2010.
In 2012 he was moved to a new team, the Pachuca and from there he went on to join other teams like Puebla, Jaguares de Chiapas , Liga Ascenso, Alebrijes de Oaxaca y Coras Tepic.
